I am having alot of trouble getting the mortgage companies to give me any information. I have all of the fax #'s and phone #'s I need, but they keep giving me the run-around. (ex. Tell me they received the BPO, then say they haven't received the BPO). I am worried that the buyer is going to get tired of not getting an answer, and back out. Any suggestions from experience????

Ok, it is going to take two weeks or so after the BPO is complete before you hear back especially when dealling with the larger lenders. Update the buyers agent weekly and you should be fine. Act as if everything is happening according to plan and keep a positive attitude.

The first told me that they received the BPO and hopefully will have a response by week's end. Now, the 2nd keeps telling me that the file has not been assigned yet. Do they use the BPO from the first? The 2nd hasn't done a BPO yet. The first sounds like they are gonna take it, but don't know...do I negotiate with the 2nd, or does the 1st negotiate with them?

Who is the second lien holder? You need to stay on them call everyday to find out whats going on with the file. If it is over two weeks ask for a supervisor and see if they can get it assigned. Tell them that you have the BPO on the first and you are looking to get this deal closed quickly. Keep me posted.
