Hi,

Looking for a new 1-800#/ IVR company. Our current provider (arch) is too expensive.
Our last bill was $350.

Who are you using? Are you going to continue using them?

Anything would help.

David

we stopped using 800/IVR because we felt it took away from our incoming calls. My agents felt that they can convert the calls easier than the IVR. They said they had to really track down callers with numerous calls and little response back. Is that not what you are finding?

Default Cheap IVR/ 800# source.

its a great listing tool, does get waaaay more calls vs not using the IVR.
The only downside is that you have to call all of those leads back! The key is to call them back fast....like in less than 5 minutes. Any more time than that the leads value is greatly diminished.

I found a place that offers a 800#, 100 extensions, up to 100 minutes per month...no other fees. $100 per month. Same time and service through ARCH is $250. They also have a deal for $25/ 25 listings/ 25 minutes per month. I am checking them out now...if they are legit I will let everyone know.

I was faced with the same problem. I also used Arch. I finally decided to drop it altogether. I no longer use IVR and I dont really miss it. I simply consolidated all my time and energy spent maintaining it (updating messages, etc.) on streamling my operation through internet and other less time-intensive operations. Personally, I have been happy with that decision.

I have been using IVR with ARCH since 1996. I find that the costs are well worth it because of the excellent system that they have and the number of lines available. At the cost of $350 per month, if you sell one house at $150,000 per year you will recapture the costs. Since I started using it in 1996 it doubled the amount of business I did. I find that many agents don't use it properly and they put in too much information in the ads. I do not put in price, square footage, bedrooms or baths, that way they have to call to get the information. If you list 3 bedrooms and I am lokking for a 4 bedroom I will not call. I don't care what they call on my goal is to sell them a home.
I always look at the return on the cost before abandoning something that works to save a few dollars.

Hello,
1800HomeHotLine.com
$29.95 month and you receive 4 hours free each month. After your 4 hours it is just .10 per minute. There are no sign up fees, no cancellation fees, and no contracts to sign.
