I saw your question and I wanted to respond. I am not sure about everyone else but I do door knock. I am very new to the short sale process and just started in July of 07'. I currently closed my first short sale in January and I also currently have 3 more listings under contract and just signed up 2 more people last week. These are all from door knocking. I door knock from the sheriff foreclosure list. I give myself atleast 2 months so right now I am door knocking for June auction dates. Seems to be ALOT of people putting the little ads around so I needed to be different. Ask around on how many people door knock, NONE! I have an office of about 120 people and I think 3 of us door knock a routine basis. I go out 2 days a week and the weekends. Remember these people may not answer the door either but always leave them something like a business card. I hope this helps!
