Before the volume of foreclosures, I had received several foreclosed building lots from a local savings and loan on recommendation of an apprasier. We have been in contact with them as we have sold these lots and they are happy with us. They really haven't had to foreclose on too many homes as they are working out solutions with the homeowners to keep the properties. But I have also done several BPO's for another financial company and have just received my first listing from them. I am anxious to see if I receive others from them. There are about three other agents in our area who have one each listing from this company. I think they are seeing who can give the service and sell them fast. They are very demanding of time, reports, putting your funds up front for things like cleaning, maintenance, utilities, etc. They reimburse you by direct deposit into your account but only after providing lots of documents and pictures.
