I have 2 clients -- one with a serious hardship, one without. Question is the same for both.

They can make a payment every other month. Neither has missed a payment yet, but won't be able to make it this month. Will making a October's payment in November and then November's Payment in January..... will this delay the foreclosure proceedings? Does it buy them time? Or should they just not bother to make any further payments?
