Do you do in house training for your staff....buyer agents, admin people or do you hire an outside company? Share your experiences...good, bad and ugly.

Tim,
I have hired a couple of couches in the past, and I can tell you that I had great success with Bob Corcoran working with my team. He came to my office and implemented a complete system for my buyers agents, from scripts to tracking, accountability, and measuring goals. I have had the pleasure to teach and train with him at other offices, and everytime I have worked with him I have been amazed at how well the agents respond to his training. I believe that most teams respond well to to an outside source, it's great because you have someone to validate the training that you have already shared, and the team of course gets another prespective and a fresh approach from someone other than the rainmaker. By the way what a great site, thanks for putting it together. :)

Hi,

Curious...what specific things/ systems etc are you using that works best. I am sure you are familiar with how most 100+ per year agents manage their buyer agents...what is it that you are doing that may be different..anything specific come to mind?

Do you have your agents do anything to produce their own leads...prospect etc?

Another question. When do you hire, fire? Are you growing your buyer agent staff or letting agents go. Many are letting staff go in anticipation of the changing markets while others see the changing markets as the time to expand...what is your perspective?

Tim

PS thanks for the praise regarding the site. Its only great because people like you participate.
